April Kline is a Certified Professional Midwife, a Licensed Massage Therapist with a specialty in Prenatal and Infant Massage, a DONA-certified Doula, and is currently completing a Masters in Midwifery.

She co-founded Dar a Luz Network in 2005 because it was becoming more and more apparent to her how biased and segmented much of the information offered to pregnant women and new moms was. April wanted to offer the entire range of information to all women as well as offer them unconditional support for the choices they made based on that information.
She currently lives in Dayton, Ohio with her husband and two young daughters, two dogs, three cats and two fish.
